Private Sessions with Hillary

Need Help?

If your puppy or dog is causing damage to your home, playing roughly with your kids, growling at strangers, lunging at other dogs, guarding toys or food, or is difficult to manage you have some serious challenges ahead. The sooner you get help, the easier it’s going to be on everyone, including your dog. In fact, behavior problems are a frequent indication that your dog isn’t happy, either.

If your puppy has arrived at adolescence with some bad habits that seem to be getting worse and you’re longing for that lost innocence, or you have a new puppy on the way and need some help puppy-proofing your home and making sure you have everything you need, it’s time to get organized and plan ahead.

We get many calls for help after a dog has done serious damage, bitten a child, jumped on a visitor or lunged at a strange dog. In nearly every situation there were warning signs, behaviors that manifested subtly then ballooned into full fledged problems. Early intervention is always optimal but not always possible, as with a recently adopted dog. The key is to start early, at the first sign of a problem.

The Good News

In many cases you’ll see improved behavior right away. We have many options for structuring training and you’ll have a Behavior Plan to follow after the first session. Throughout the training process you’ll also have access to a range of Support Services like Daily Dog Walks, Daycare, Boarding and more. These create consistency, ensure long-term success and give you down-time when you need it.

Refresher Sessions are wonderful for busy people who don’t have much time to work with their dog. These can take place during a Dog Walk or in a formal session. Happily dogs don’t forget much, in fact they have great memories so if you’re experiencing challenges and need a Refresher, give us a call.
