Day Training at Hillary’s Hounds is a dynamic Training Program that simultaneously solves behavior problems while teaching dogs new behaviors in places and situations where they are most reactive and fearful.
Your world is bigger than your kitchen or front door and while these are important places for a dog to get things right, they are only part of the equation. For even the most fearful of dogs the outside world beckons and the sooner you get him (back) out there, the better. The question is, how do you do this safely and effectively when there are behavior problems?
Whether you have a newly adopted dog, a reactive adolescent or a dog that has become increasingly fearful or aggressive, Day Training can solve the problem and teach your dog a new repertoire of pro-social behaviors that will make life enjoyable once again.
Day Training solves multiple behavior problems and teaches new behaviors by combining three powerful ingredients; Exercise, Training, and Socialization. We add a Fourth Element to relax and re-socialize dogs; “Angel Dogs” that model friendliness and good behavior while teaching dogs how to relax and trust again. Results come quickly, with minimum stress and maximum fun. Sessions take place all over Marin, depending on the issues to be addressed and our behavior goals.
